Been boxing for a couple of years and done a handful of singles and rings, but this will be my first time hosting a ring with a theme of my choosing (Shout out of thanks to little monkey for all the valuable insight and advice!!)

I also have lurked a bit over the years but haven't done much posting on the boards here (this just in - new for 2013!) so this will have a bit of a learning curve for me. Advice, feedback, thoughts and suggestions welcome!

You are brave! One of my goals this year is to try a postal..... have fun.

Lesson 1: None one can sign up since you have it listed as limited. When it is limited you have to add the people you are allowing into the ring. Many veterans use this to screen potential participants.

Nothing wrong with that but if that was the intent have them send you an AQmail stating interest. Otherwise you can change it to open and anyone can join until it is full.

That all being said I have always been the owl. Would like to join.

Was advised that to make sure I have alt email and mailing address I should set it up that way....is that not typical? Postal is half full already and I only listed this am!

that looks like a lot of fun - and given the people who have signed up, you aren't going to have any problems.

*sigh* i wish i could join and i already have too many stamps on my plate, so to speak. maybe next time. . .

You can still have it open but require those items in your rules. If someone doesn't comply you can always drop them from the ring. It all depends on what you want from your ring. The standing rule is always "your ring, your rules".
