turns out Mr. Umbrella needs to be closer to Charlotte to fly on a regular basis than we thought. So, going all the way to Asheville is probably out. We're currently thinking we're going to end up in Hickory or thereabouts.

Tigs, Honey, I think that you made a typo. You meant that you were moving to the Mooresville area, not Hickory.

Yes it is. However, here's the bizarro thing: they don't have direct connections to BTV, which is what Mr. U needs. If Southwest flew into BTV, that would work. JetBlue flies into BTV; JetBlue flies out of Charlotte, every morning at 6 am. He can be in BTV by 10:30. On the way home, he can be back by 12:30 am, if he had to (not that he wants to, but he could if he had to). That was part of our decision-making process.
Did i mention Mr. U is bringing his job with him? Yeah, commuting once a month back to VT. i still have to find one. So, Dm, we may end up closer to Mooresville. Depends on where the job lands me. We're gonna start in Hickory, though. . .

You might consider the Kannapolis/Concord area too. A 35 minute drive to the airport....

Yeah, that's what I thought too- I got a plain old 4. Having Siri talk to me was kind of annoying too, and it was cheap!!
