<Maybe boxing is not such a good idea yet.... almost all the CT state parks are still closed>

I was planning on doing the T-series on the Tunxis Trail starting this month, but now I'm not sure. I did see a map showing the percentage of people without power by town, and the area around the Tunxis had one of the least people with power out, so maybe it will be possible. In Shelton a couple of the trail volunteers were out yesterday with chainsaws clearing away wreckage, but we have over 15 miles of trails so it's going to take a long time.

Oh, hey, and just a reminder to check the status of those shoreline boxes, everyone. I'm listing three of mine as 'unknown' because I strongly suspect they were swept away.

Letterboxing at CT state parks--the parks are good here in northern Hartford county. We've been to Shenipsit State Park in Stafford/Somers, and was at the Scantic River Trail in Somers yesterday. The Scantic River is high and some of the trail by the river is washing away, but none of the letterboxes are affected. The trail leading to them may need to be changed slightly, though.

Wish all of you the best of luck with storm recovery. We were part of the few who have had power.
