We are very new to this wonderful hobby. We had a question on the PT> So when we get clues from someone who has a PT. We figure out the clues. Do we then just get a stamp from there PT>..or do we get the actual PT stamp itself. Sorry we are so confused so many things with this hobby. it is so much fun. Just trying to make sure we get it all correct. Thank you.

When you meet someone in person, either on the trail or at a gathering, you tell them the answer and you get to stamp their PT in your logbook. You do not take the actual stamp.

Once you figure out the PT clue, you have to say the answer to the letterboxer who created it. Then they will stamp their PT into your logbook. Most of the time PT's are exchanged in person.
