Hello all of our boxin buddies! Sorry I/we have been so absent lately, my world has been such a blur between work and home, but wanted to fill y'all in

(Holly), We are having a BUCKAROO!!!!

The ultrasound was **THE** most amazing thing ever. We have a little exhibitionist, because he sure wasn't shy about anything!
Due date July 20.

Will keep everyone posted. Been a very easy pregnancy, no sickness, no weight gain yet (and Tuesday hits the 20 week halfway mark)... sure hope the tides don't change, for I am very thankful!

The expectant momma isn't entirely truthful here....
She has had the morning sickness although not too terribly bad. She has been very tired too. Then she got that head and chest crud too. So, while she has been doing pretty well, she had had her rough spots.

I hope the rest of the pregnancy is smooth sailin'.........and I want a girl....and I think the ultrasound pictures are wrong!!!!!! (LOL????) This is where I get to have all the fun and spoil the kid and then send 'em home, right?

.and I want a girl...

So did my MIL .... she had the pink dresses all picked out ! :O) I told her that those pink dresses were not gonna look so good with cow pies and horse apples all over them ! LOL

This is where I get to have all the fun and spoil the kid and then send 'em home, right?

YEAH .... that is the worse part about living next to the grandparents ... the Trooper goes out there NEVER EVER hears the word NO .... then comes home .... AUGH !

You would never do that to your daughter Zoe would you ? LOL

I can wait to hold the little buckaroo !!!

And ** I ** knew it was a boy the entire time. You can just ignore Granny Zoe about the girl parts. (no pun intended) LOL

I love him already and look forward to every moment sharing the life to come. We'll have to teach him to point up when someone asks which way is north. ;-)

Congratulations and all that!!! What fun!!! I'm late in replying, but I have to say, I hope he gets here one day early - then he will have the same birthday as Foxy Boy ;-))

And I have to say - I had much more fun with little boy clothes than little girl clothes - those teeny boy things are so cute - I'm remembering one little set that Eli had that had dogs embroidered on the sweater, and matching pants - awwwwwww!!! Girl stuff - pink, frilly, yadda yadda yadda.......

Maybe that's why Baby Fox loves her brother's hand-me-downs - she gets it from me ;-))

I can assure you that this kid will hear the word NO from his granny.
I see far too many ill-mannered and ill-behaved little kids out there who could use a good NO and a swat on the bottom for reinforcement.

So, there will be lots of butterfly kisses and tummy farts and laughter....and the occasional "NO". See, if you catch the behaviors early then you don't have to continually deal with them. I sure remember my mother's "death" look....and the polite smile on her face while she dug her nails in my wrist when I misbehaved and we were in public.

Lookin' forward to teaching this kid lots of stuff!

Don't let Zoe fool you guys.... LOL

She said over and over that the only thing she would NOT answer to is "Granny". And here she is, using it and he isn't even born yet. ;-)

Frankly, that little boy can call me anything he desires------ so long as he CALLS me! I can be the fun Favorite Aunt and still return a lovely, well-behaved child when it's time for him to go home. If I ever LET him go home that is.

Ain't that the truth!

Although, I have to say, I totally don't even know my mother now! I can't believe the things she allows the boys as a grandmother! She doesn't tolerate bad behavior, but she's not even close to strict like she was with me. I don't know how many times I've watched her with them thinking, "Is this the same woman that raised me?!"
