Quote Otherwise, the pink stuff should be available at Michaels although you have to go up and down every single aisle to find it and don't bother asking an associate there--they won't know what you're asking about--but despite that they usually have it.

At Michaels, 85% of the time I find the pink stuff and carving tools in with the canvas and oil paint supplies. The other 15% of the time it is with the rubberstamping stuff. I have no idea why they put it back there with the "real art" art supplies! :-) (as opposed to the "crafty art" art supplies) Take your 40% off Michaels coupon with you too!!

My favorite place to buy supplies is the UW Bookstore on 15th Ave and 43rd St in Seattle. They have lots of different tools (including Speedball and various tips), and several different kinds of carving media (including MasterCarve, my personal favorite, in many different shapes and sizes). They also have a ZILLION different sizes and shapes of little notebooks, many which are quite reasonably priced. You can park for free in their lot right behind the store if you get your parking validated inside (up to 2 hrs). It's not very close to my house, but it's pretty easy to get to if you go on the weekends.
