| Descr | Hitch hikers to be planted close to Christmas Day with one of 2 destinations: the stable box planted somewhere on the West Coast by Esmerelda for the Nativity or the Island box planted somewhere in Maine by MudFlinginFools for the Misfit Toys. These are to be traditional hitch hikers... "So, no mailing, and no passing off from person to person. I like the idea of them traveling from box to box. Some may get there within a year, it may take some longer, some will probably disappear. But, it should be fun." Any questions for the Nativity HH's should be directed to ForceOfFive, who will be setting up a "tracker" of sorts in this way: listing all the HHs as a series, with Fo5 as owner and each individual would be carver, planter, and author. Then, you would get credit for the plant, and you would be able to edit the HH, but, we can all pull up the series if we're interested in looking at the progress of the whole group. The Island of Misfit toys can be populated by traditional characters from the cartoon, or a current misfit of your imagining. Same basic rule applies... no mailing and no passing off from person to person. Questions for the Island should be directed to MFF. Offical planting period should be anytime between Dec. 20 (giving you the weekend before Christmas) and Jan. 6 (Epiphany). |
