Great boxes to find - we went as a group to the Fort with three families, one of whom has never been letterboxing. Had a great time! Nice carvings, too. The Cannonballs stamp is starting to crumble, though. We found what seemed to be the correct spot for the Penobscot Narrows Bridge box, but found nothing there.

Found the Civil War Soldier after waiting for a group of kids to leave the area. I apparently picked out the wrong rocks for the Rodman Cannon! I'll have to try again next visit. I figured I'd check on the log/stamp combo at the end, but wasn't able to find it under the rock I thought it was under. The area around the rock was a bit stamped down, so who knows. Lovely carving, though.

We love Fort Knox! What a great place to find some boxes! We looked numerous times for box #5 but had no luck. Stamps were carved nicely.

I work at a group home and go letterboxing with the residents often. However, It was my husbands first time and he had a blast. We chose this location because he helped build the Penobscot Narrows Bridge. He had no clue these boxes existed. We had a wonderful time! Thank you so much!
