Sad to report that these boxes are missing. We are fairly certain that we were in the correct location although the area is greatly changed with the construction of a new Valley Links Golf Shop. You can still park near the pedestrian bridge with the red roof. You can get a hiking trail map at the golf shop and walk west to the trailhead for trail 1. From here, head toward trail 2 trailhead. You should encounger the second bridge with the red roof referred to in the clue. When you reach the bridge, turn around as you are now approaching from the wrong direction. There are posts remaining where the old gate used to be and from this point the clues match perfectly, but no sign of either box. Google maps satellite clearly shows the red roofs of the bridges which was a big help to us. Trail map also available online here: https://www.frenchlick.com/sites/default/files/flipping_book/hikingtrailsmap/index.html

I was in the area and decided to check on these. I am happy to report that both boxes are there and in good shape. I have moved one because the area is was hidden in has changed. I have updated the clue :)

I found the train but didn't find the second one

Nice trail - fairly private spot in an otherwise very busy area. The Toy Train is adorable. Couldn't find the autograph - I think they might have removed a downed tree.

Had to look a little bit for the second one but we found it. They were great carves! Thank you. Kitty writer

Wow! What a hike up and down!!! Awesome Hide!
The letterbox is in good condition! Thanks for the hide. Was not able to find Larry Bird one, but I am sure it was just us!

Beautiful day in French Lick with my in-laws, niece & nephew! Found both of the French Lick Souvenirs and enjoyed the walk.
