Box Comments

I checked on this series today; trail still has some packed snow and ice, but it's trekkable and all of the boxes are accessible. I moved the last box and updated the clue, as it found it sitting out in the open (!)
Currently three posts need to be replaced on the trail; the map in the clue itself should help for reference, but also know:
Post 3 is leaning against a tree but in about the right place.
Post 4 has fallen down; look for a turn-off for box 4 about 100 steps past post 3 (it's just past where post 4 was laying on the ground today.)
Post 7 is leaning against a tree about 10 steps from where it should be - you can see the hole where it was. Follow the same clue with an additional 10 steps and you'll get to the right place, or just go to the first large tree on RHS in the clearing before the creek crossing.
Happy boxing!

Very clever series! A real gem. As of today all boxes are happy and in their place. Took us a minute to realize the first box was "our hand" :) Still a fair amount of snow on the ground in April but could get through everything in sneakers. Beautiful stamps, thank you, ST!

Missed this plant 5 years ago, but got it now. Great trail!

Two weeks ago we attempted this awesome series and spent a very frustrating afternoon trying to follow the clues from one box to the next. After our ah-ha moment when we read the names of the boxes, we returned today and had an amazing time! Great carves, beautiful location, fun story and game. This would be a great series to get someone hooked on letterboxing!

We had an absolute blast with this series!! Thank you so much!!

Sadly, although I found the first and last boxes, I couldn't seem to find the 2nd box, and, as a result, never found any of the others :(

Most excellent adventure with boxing buddies! Loved that you actually got us thinking but whats a game of clue without deductive reasoning! Took a minute to get out bearings straight but eventually the ah-ha moment finally arrived, by George! Thank you for a real good time:)

Also, post 2 was up but made group decision to relocate box at post 5. Follow fallen giant to SPOR behind tree but under giant.
