What a neat place! The staff were very helpful and super nice. Luckily they knew where all the stamps were, as box #1 was tucked away in a cabinet due to a recent event there. We were lucky enough to also get a bonus embossed stamp! (If they don't offer it up, you could probably ask and I'm sure they would love to do that for anyone.) Thank you for bringing us here and for the nicely carved stamps as well. You can tell they love housing the letterboxing stamps there. ☺

This was the MOST delightful fun place to letterbox. We made new friends, danced to tunes, figured out how to open old coded locks, and enjoyed the bizarre and fascinating world of stamps. Delighted to find the real stamp versions of some of the carves. I can't believe it took me this long to visit! A small, but mighty museum.

Such fun! Thanks for the hint MagicalMichelle, there are 2 owl 🦉 displays - the red box is closer to the back right in the room. Box 2 is in the special exhibit room, under the display near the 🚪 door - it's ok to partially close the door. Others are obvious. Great stamps - worth it!!!

Diamond worthy series.

This museum is a treasure trove! Carves are BEAUTIFUL. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

-Box #1) in a smallish, red mailbox.

-Box #2) INK: Purple. We left a hh.

-Box #3) Stamps weren't in box #19. Staff had four options for us in the drawer. One says: "50th Anniversary Station." We went with all four options, LOL.

+The museum has the stamps of the carves in boxes #2 & #4. They are in the special exhibits room. We referenced them to match ink colors.

Wonderful all around. Highly recommend.

Wow this was a fun one. Everyone there was as interested in letterboxing as we were in stamps and postal history.

Amazing carves! Great museum with friendly and very knowledgeable staff. We purchased quite a few packages of mounts. So glad to find a place to buy stamp supplies. Thanks for bringing us here.

Box 3 is missing - so they gave me a postal cancellation stamp instead. This museum is super fun for adults and children alike; there are many great educational activities for the kiddos and mine left with a one pound bag of stamps to start her own collection!

What an awesome, wonderful place! The volunteers/staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the history was interesting to learn about. Add some gorgeous carves to that, and it was more than worth the drive. Thanks for bringing us to such a great place!
