What spectacular carvings! We only found 5, but they were well worth the effort. The conservation area doesn’t seem to be getting maintained anymore, as even the paths are overgrown with poison ivy. These would be great winter boxes when things are not so overgrown - maybe the centaur and mermaid can be found among the snow?

Most boxes were wet. Some trees/marker signs down. Definitely needs to be revisited by owner.

Couldn't find the mermaid but I found all the others! Fun hike, even if it did start raining halfway through.

It seems as though the stump hiding Mermaid has been cut down. We found the box behind a medium pine on the right hand side of the trail in that general area.

Most of the boxes were wet with water, but the logbooks were ok.
Pretty sure found remains of hollow stump(none left standing) where mermaid was. No sign of box.
Loved the series.
