This was our second trip here and somehow we always end up super-hot and thirsty no matter the weather on this hike... We missed the bat cave again (??) but this time were successful finding Harley Quinn. Oddly, the box was sitting almost out in the open (very obvious), because we hunted extensively in this area before, but hadn't seen it. So we re-hid it with a rock in front of it to keep it from rolling out/being out in the open again. It is a beautiful, detailed carve. Worth the second trip. We'll try again for Batman, but maybe when the mosquitoes aren't so thick! Oh - the log book was super-cool, but super-wet :( You can still stamp in it - but next finder perhaps might want to bring a new logbook.

We were so excited to hunt for these, but our photo matching skills are evidently not up to par as we searched for hours and only found one box. We found the clue for the Harley Quinn box, but could not find the spot "behind" photographed afterwards despite seeking for literally hours. We gave up, hot and thirsty, and vowed to try again. We even enlisted in Muggles who were bouldering and knew the rocks well - but still - no luck! I'm sure they're probably out there somewhere - we just couldn't figure the clues out :(

We got a little lost finding these 3. We happened upon box 3, but not purposefully. Maybe we took the trail backwards? So sad we missed Batman!

Great stamps and logbooks...worth the hike!

It was a hot and muggy day for chasing bats and we are sure to have caught poison ivy...quite literally, but we found all three and the boxes are in great shape!! Beautiful carves and fabulous logbooks. thanks for a fun family day.
