June 2023: Area beyond the stairs is still closed.

Climbed the stairs, but the park put up a fence to block off this part of the trail. I assume temporarily. Will have to go back sometime.

Gorgeous stamp. The logbook is super-soggy, so we couldn't stamp in it. The number of steps may have been correct if the stepper is very, very tall.

found your box today. very pretty stamp. those stairs were a killer! but worth the view! thanks for sharing it with us.

The box is there and in rough shape. The stamp is in great shape, the logbook is mush and ruined, and the box is broken and cracked. The box did seem further away than the clues suggested.

Agree with previous boxer. Checked every possible maple tree and not a hint of a hollow, much less a box

Gorgeous waterfall and a beautiful stamp to match!

Great carving and location! Little bit of water in the box but logbook and stamp both fine. (-:

Beautiful park....will definitely come back to these trails in the Spring. My daughter loved finding the box and stamp. Took my son with from college....his first find.
