Found what was left of this box no stamp but pretty damged log. The location was worth the trip.

I dug around a while, but was unable to find this box. I was looking in the pile of bricks and wood that looked like they used to be steps on the left side. This was the only pile of bricks I saw. I hope I missed it so I can try again!

The container was missing. I found what was left of the log in pieces in grass not too far away. I looked all over and never found the stamp. I gathered the pieces, stamped in and put what was there in a zip lock bag. I know it isn't perfect, but that was all I had with me . I suspect the box may have had an unfortunate encounter with a weed eater. Even though the end was sad, the hunt was fun.

Neat box, and church's history. Log book soaked.

The grass was much too high for comfort - can't wait to come back in the fall.
