My first TX find! Thanks for the tale and the fine carve!

Took me a little while to find the log but it was right where you said but with the log hidden by the shrubbery.

Put back under the the same log that was rotting away :) We even found a parasite with it :)

The log it is hidden by is pretty well rotted away. It is now "Under" what remains of the log.

This was our very first letterbox ever! Amazingly fun and a beautiful stamp! Thanks so much.

Went to look for this letterbox since our daughter moved nearby. Cool carve!! Logbook was VERY full. Found a spot for us. Sorry didn't have a replacement logbook.

Excellent hiding place..had to be a little sneaky retrieving and replacing it. Beautiful stamp

Magnificent stamp! Surprisingly enough, the park wasn't very busy on a hot Saturday afternoon! The bench made for a great place to discreetly stamp and wait for park workers to pass before placing back in hiding spot!

Beautiful stamp! I grew up not too far from there and spent many, many hours of my teen years hanging out with friends and cruising the lake! Yes, I have heard of the Lady of the Lake, but never actually met her....fortunately!
