I’ve attempted this one in the past. I tried again this year. The poles are gone. I looked best I could along the logs lining that parking lot about where it should be from where I remember the poles were. It’s very very overgrown which makes it hard to search. If this box is still there (which it may be) it will take a very dedicated seeker with gloves and a calm muggle day.

The area is torn up for construction. I couldn’t find anything correlating with the clues but box might still be here.

Awesome! It was not easy to find. The log is really old and slowly being overgrown. A spiky briar started growing by the log where the box is hidden - just one more clue for those who come to search for it.

We "refound" the box. The brush has grown a lot since the last time we were here and may make it tricky to find. There was some moisture in the box but everything is in good condition.

La Push was one of the highlights of our Washington trip. Thanks for planting there. We stayed in a cabin on First Beach, and it was just lovely. We left our own Twilight box in the area.

The parking lot has been changed a bunch, so the "view" from the log isn't quite what it might have been. Don't let that deter you from finding this awesome carve!
