Headed out to find this one...got a little more complicated than I figured. lol.
The original driving instructions won't work anymore, as the trail is now a private trail for residents of the neighborhood and has a locked gate. Instead, I ended up parking at the Paseo bosque access and walking over…which I found was 1.4 miles one way, but definitely doable. I’m sure you could park at the Open Space Visitor Center at 6500 Coors Blvd NW and get much closer access, but since it was President’s Day the gate was closed, and I was impatient 😊

Once you walk over on the ditch, you can see the gate for the neighborhood where you would have come out and get your bearings...the clues all work perfectly from there. The only thing is the big tree on the left is now a big stump on your left. Everything else was perfect and I had no problems finding the box at all! I had a nice peaceful walk and got back to my car just as it was getting dark. Well worth the trek over!! 😊 Hoping you will be able to update the clue for the next finder 😊

Fun find! I'm visiting here from Ohio and took my 4-year-old grandson (Jay) with me to help find the box. I had carved a signature stamp for him and he was thrilled to find the box and stamp in the logbook.

lovely trail. i got a little turned around by the five trunk tree, but then took a chance on what looked like a six trunk and got lucky. thanks for the hunt.

Geese honked in the background. Thanks for getting us out on this cold winter's day. Hitchhiker picked up.
