Hi, this park has been turned into a memorial for the French victims of Nazi occupation. So sadly that box is gone...but the memorial is well worth a visit.

This is the entrance to the Paris Holocaust Museum. Definitely not accessible during business hours. But the memorial is worth the visit.

A security guard was posted right next to described hiding spot. I looked the best I could under the circumstances and was not able to find the stamp. Maybe I would have been able to find it had the guard not been there and I could have much more aggressively searched through the hedge.

Found the spot but there was no letterbox :(

We had our kids with us and were expecting lots of trouble with the guard mentioned in the other notes but to our surprise there was no one there to bar our access to the box! Yippeee! We were there on a Monday in the middle of the afternoon when many museums and other state employees are closed and have the day off so perhaps this is why we had such good luck. In any case it was much fun!

Thanks for the great stamp and a lovely spot, No guard the day we went, yay.

Ok, this one got exciting for us. We thought "How close can the guard be?" We'll, he's about 4 ft away. He monitors the attendance of the deportation memorial so absolutely don't bother during their opening hours. We went back after hours but 15 seconds after finding, we were booted out of the park by a guard and the tall spikey gates were locked! The park itself closes! So the letterbox spent the night with us. Went back this morning to re-hide and the guard showed up right in the midst of it! Ack! He was irritated with us but when he saw what were up to (no way to hide at this point) he was much friendlier? So I think they know what's up. But try to hit the park exactly after closing.

Very nice! Luckily, we got there a few minutes before the memorial closed for the evening, so we only had to wait a little while for the gardian to leave.

Sorry to say this one is missing. We followed your directions fine, but could not find the letterbox. The Deportation Memorial is closed, so there was a guard watching it. He came over to see what we were doing. I thought for sure we were going to be arrested. Thanks for the walk anyway.

couldn't find the box - the clue was very clear and it seemed obvious where it should be. We had ample time to look and didn't find it but we were then chastised by a grumpy park guard who spotted us and shooed us away from the hiding spot saying it was disrespectful to be looking in the bushes at a park that was a memorial.
