Tried finding this June 2023 and had no luck. Not entirely certain we found the trio of big trees though.

Stamp is in good shape, logbook is turning into sludge. Loved the clue map.

DudleyGrunt and I had just started the "Choose Your Own Potomac River Adventure" series when I noticed something from the "Treasure Map". We went on to locate the box. The container is compromised and it was full of water. We did stamp our log books, but the box log book is beyond saving. This box was very well done and I liked the stamp. Too bad the box was full of water.

Found with sfcchaz as we were bouncing around in time at at the park. Weren't actively looking at the time, but Chaz recognized the tree was we were walking by. We followed the map and made the find. Yes, box was full of water and the log book was completely soaked. We were able to stamp our books, though. Thanks for bringing us here.
