Bad news, we think. The very large tree has been cut down, and part of the hedge (to the left of it) is missing, exactly where the clues would have made us look. In addition, the rest of the hedge is rather sparse and wouldn't offer much cover. We're afraid the letterbox has disappeared.

It was rather busy, but we pretended to have the picnic as advised and we found the box in the hedge that had just been trimmed.

Took a while to find. The hedge between the rass and the tree is pretty think so the box had been moved to right looking at the tree from the grass. Just on the ride side of a break in the hedge, away from the tree.

Got this one on our last day -a nice memento. Box is good but interior very wet and log is soaked.

I searched high and low and no luck. The bushes appeared to be recently trimmed so not sure if that played into it or not. Next time I am in Paris, I will try again.

I had a tough time getting this box, wasn't hard to find but in addition to the parents and kids running around, the day I was there, there was a park attendant standing right next to the tree, what are the odds, had to wait around a bit, good challenge

First finder! LOTS of people around, even on a cold winter day.
