Great old cemetery. It is very well maintained. Unfortunately, the bush is gone and no box is to be found. Loved learning about the Goodnights.

No bushes left in area. Wonderful adventure full of history.
dlbisblestProfileContactLogbookNote
There was no bushes in the vicinity, only trees, and we looked at the base of all of those and no letter box
CorgiLoverProfileContactLogbookNote
The bushes have all been limbed up so they are now trees- no box 20 ft from headstone in any direction

Box is not here and the bush is no longer here. We did find a geocache box so guessing they removed it. It's a really cool cemetery to see in the fields

Box was completely destroyed.
Replaced Logbook and container.
Replanted in same spot. Thanks for the adventure, intresting cementary. With Butterfly kisses88. ....

Wonderful history lesson. The only thing left of this box was the stamp. Patriot Rider & I paid tribute to Mr. Goodnight by replacing the box, new log book & container. It was a joy to do this.

Loved this box. The bandanas around the fence were an awesome tribute to Mr. Goodnight.

We met the grand niece of Goodnight at the cemetery today. That was pretty cool. Your box was full of water. The lid has a crack in it. Emptied the water. Dried the baggies. Thankfully there were enough layers that the log book was still dry. I put just the log book in yet another Baggie. I think there were 4 layers of baggies by the time I was finished. Hopefully contents will stay dry until the box can be replaced.
