Got hands and knees thoroughly muddy and hair full of juniper needles, but couldn't find the box -- only a bit of brown duct tape. Hmmm....

Neat spot. We missed it the first time. Picked a wrong day to circle the cemetery--memorial day. After about the third time around the geological society was convinced they could help us. Grave of Nolan Jones was interesting.

Lovely cemetery! We foolishly parked the cars and walked the route....the kids (all 7 and under) were completely worn out as we ended up walking around the entire loop of the cemetery!

Your son did an excellent job!! The trick of being sneaky adds to the fun of the adventure!

Nice tour of the cemetary. We could hear ravens flying overhead as we were stamping our logbook. Created a nice little effect- perfect for the finding.

Enjoyed a nice leisurely walk and cemetary history this morning wnd it ended with the lovely surprise of being the first finder! Then you beat me to Boulder. :) We had to have missed each other by moments!Very nice first carve by your son! Think we almost ran over your letterbox hating rodent too. Daring little squirrel!
