We found the yellow house and the old fence posts (the fence along the Northern border of the preserve is newer) but couldn’t seem to locate the box 😢

logbook still damp. Box fine.

Great stamp! Park on the side of the road near the entrance to the park. It was a dry day so no need to worry about soggy ground. Saw a wild turkey scurry away from us on our walk. :) Fun find!

Great little walk, but I would advise trashy sneakers, water proof boots, or Wellies because there is a massive puddle. It's deep. You have to go around it and it's still damp and muddy. But this box is worth it. Go forth and fetch it! The log book is damp. Needs to be dried out. I changed the ziplock bag since the old one was holey. The box seems solid, but since we did not have the usual boxing mobile I had very few repair supplies and thus no napkins to wipe it out. Perhaps a local could dry the log book over night. It's worth saving.

Surprised to be the first finder in over a year! Trail was very soggy after the yellow house, had to detour around in dryer land. Nice carving!

Last box of a long day. Had just enough time before sunset to find this one.

Nice walk and quick find. I enjoy this area and have been in the preserve previously for geocaches. Very nice stamp, thanks for planting this here.

stopped at Denny's for breakfast on Fowler ave, and while they were eating I ran out and found a Kirbert box.
Thanks for the find.

What an adventure. Took my son to the ropes course at MOSI, and saw that a Kirbert box was nearby. HAD to get it. Saw a cacher on his way out, with a cache he was trying to place. Found the letterbox with the help of a compass... Plenty of room to launch my tiny, beautiful HH. Kirbert, very nicely carved stamp, and also well-crafted mount. I also like the way you back your log with plastic to make it easy to stamp. Will seek out more! :) Took pics on the trail.... Thanks!
