It was a lovely 70 degree day in January so we thought we'd go for a letterboxing adventure! We always enjoy a hike through Takapusha, though unfortunately we were unable to locate either box.

In the first hollow tree, it's possible it fell all the way in as it seems the hollow goes down into the tree past where you could possibly reach.

We found the place for the second as well, but the logs and leaves were cleared back from the hollow tree and we couldn't find a box inside with a fair bit of digging. Too bad as we've loved seeing Weeping Willow's stamps before.

Our first recorded FAILURE, which I tend not to log. despite fantastic clues, we were unable to find. had to take pictures of my children with their arms shoulder deep in the "B" hole which resembled an oak tree rectal exam.

Found box #2, cute! Sadly, box #1 is missing. Nice neighborhood trails.

All is good. Both boxes were visible from trailnsonhid them a little better but in the same spots. Second box was wet inside, including inside bag with log. Placed in new bag with paper towel and dried rest of box. Thanks for the series. Hoping to get the troll here as well but area overgrown with tons of trash. Sadly this whole park has lots of trash and graffiti.

I love the bamboo fence they are working on! Thanks for the plants on a very cloudy, muddy, quiet Sunday! Missed first finder by one day- congrats Jaxx!
