This was my 3rd attempt. 2nd in the last month. I am most certain I am in the correct spot, but I just cannot find it anywhere. I searched under ALL trees around also, just in case. Could not find it.

Unfortunately the box was in disaray. The lid was off, caked in mud and a foot away from the box. Both record books were entireley soaked and ruined. The stamp was fine. We cleaned it the best we could and put it in it's original spot.

Had a hard time finding because I wasn't sure what you meant by a grassy clearing( ended up being a clearing with grass and a bench-DUH!). I kept thinking every little clearing was it! But thanks to my husband, we found it. The bag was uncovered & out between the 2 branches and it had been chewed open on the bottom by something-perhaps a mouse? :) Replaced the baggie & tried to cover it well-the stump is now rotted to the ground so its pretty shallow. The stamp is SO cute, it was worth the search. saw lots of pretty birds & black squirrels, too. thanks for the plant.

Just a heads up----
The box could not be accessed by using the clues as written although we tried for a good 40 minutes or so---it was really muddy and flooded and so going from the two benches----in was the only option. You might???? want to consider listing this as unavailable until the area dries out a bit? You know this area---so maybe this is not typical......
