Letterboxing combines artistic ability with an outdoor treasure hunt that the whole family can enjoy. Explore history, admire beautiful viewpoints, carve rubber stamps, crack coded clues, and meet with other letterboxers from around the world—and Atlas Quest is your key to the cracking the letterboxing community.
Atlas Quest is designed to be the go-to place for international letterboxes with support for over 200 countries, and provide an alternate location for those people that—for whatever reason—prefer to list their domestic letterboxes somewhere other than letterboxing.org. After thousands of hours of effort, this website is what you're left with.
Atlas Quest is also a place where you can 'virtually meet' other letterboxers by reading their profiles, including an optional Atlas Quest interview. Or you can fill it out and tell the world a bit about yourself.
Advanced features allow you to record letterboxes you've found—and be notified via e-mail whenever someone logs one of your boxes as a find. You can sort through boxes based on a multitude of factors including trail length, wheelchair accessibility, drive-bys, and our unique city-search engine that sorts letterboxes based on the distance from a specified city or road. You can even store your favorite searches and be e-mailed automatically when a new box is added that fits one your favorite searches!
