Is this part of the new "making AQ mobile friendly" effort? It does make it easier to keep track of my place in a long thread.

It was an unintended consequence of some of the changes I made to the glossary that highlighted selected entries, but I didn't mind it so I never "fixed" the problem on the message boards.

The gray background was kind of ugly, though, and earlier today I changed it to a fuzzy purple border around the selected post. (It also shows up when you reply to a post.) If you refresh the browser and pull in the new CSS, you'll see the purple border instead of the gray background.
