Well, I'll start my critique with the most boring of the two, The Grimbergen Tripel. I chose most of my beers because of the cute labels. This one was pretty with some sort of Eagle or Hawk on the front and I was looking forward to the Tripel. This one was sort of boring. It smelled like beer, tasted like beer, nothing really distinquishing about it.

Now my next Tripel was the Tripel Karmeliet. Wow. Also a pretty label with what looks like peasants gathering wheat. The label even had some English on it....A Blond, robust, smooth and fruity 3 grain beer.

Okay, it bubbled like champagne when I poured it out and had a really nice golden color to it. A Big Head... Tasting it, it was smooth and almost creamy with a sweet, honey-like caramel flavor. Not Fruity Sweet, but honey sweet. Really nice and not like anything I have had from the states. Definitely would buy this one again YUMMY! I'm not the only one who likes it, it gets great ratings from beer drinkers:

I can't find anything much about Grimbergen online, like I said, boring.
